Position works collaboratively with various groups (Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Operations, Quality, Program Management, and occasionally customers).  Knowledge of materials, tooling fabrication methods, safety requirements, and ergonomic considerations along with mechanical aptitude and familiarity with 3D design software allow this individual to ensure optimal tool designs for complete life cycle. Ability to articulate creative solutions to a varying set of constraints is required for this position.

Design AC and DC power systems hardware and controls suitable for a variety of environments including defense and space; modify, troubleshoot, validate and maintain hardware as required; and work in team arrangement as a Project Engineer. Ideal candidate will have experience in designing power conversion circuits (AC/DC, DC/DC, AC/AC), precision voltage/current measurement circuits and analog/digital conversion, and analog and digital feedback and control; designing for system efficiency (weight, size, cost, and loss), manufacturing efficiency, and reliability in high vibration and corrosive environments; software development using C and C++ language; use of schematic capture, printed circuit layout and design simulation tools.

As a Manufacturing Engineer at EaglePicher, you will be the process owner and technical subject matter expert for all processes and productivity for your designated site and area(s).  Your primary responsibility will be providing world-class metrics, processes, equipment, documentation, and tools to ensure batteries are manufactured safely and efficiently to meet mission-critical quality standards.    In this position, you will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal, manufacture-able designs. Passion for process improvement is required.  Obsession is preferred!

As a Senior Electronics Engineer with EaglePicher Technologies, you will join our Research and Development team as a key contributor in hands on design and prototyping of Lithium-Ion battery power systems used for lasers, aircraft, satellites, and more. You will perform a diverse mix of hardware, firmware and software tasks related to the design, development, test, qualification and production support of electronic assemblies used to manage the charge and discharge of Lithium-Ion Batteries.   You will work with industry leaders within the company as well as at our customers who include NASA, JPL, BAE, Lockheed Martin, NOAA, Lawrence Livermore Labs, and Fortune 500 companies around the world. To apply you must have a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent related experience and be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
