The Manufacturing Process Specialist will be a vital team member in helping control-manufacturing process, process documentation, poke yoke area set up so production can focus on work performance, implement scrap reduction practices. Manufacturing specialist will be a frontline for 7’s procedures (Structure, Strategy, Skill, System, Shared Values, Style and Staff). Cost improvements in their area as well as working knowledge of Eagle-Picher defined goals for the specific work area. The Manufacturing Process Specialist will become act as a SME on all battery-manufacturing processes.
About the Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain and support production, set up workstations to allow workers to concentrate on task. Properly document process improvements, help integrate routings in IFS. Work with quality, group-leaders, supervisors, lean leaders, and management to stay up on the most current DCC information, and projects for the area that directly affect production. The Manufacturing Process Specialist is task driven, openly communicates with leadership, works well with engineering, and with a fast-paced production environment they will be a critical part of the success on site. Ability to manage small teams and delegating tasks in order to drive effective and efficient results as it pertains to process improvement.
This position will work with other production team members in an assigned production area, with goals to meet production schedules in accordance within quality, cost, delivery, technical and safety standards. This position encompasses multiple different actual hands-on jobs, but these roles are all similar, and are all essential to the everyday operations of EaglePicher.
Analytical lab technicians are responsible for all testing to materials that go into EaglePicher devices. They perform the first quality checks to ensure only good materials make it to the production lines. Accurate test results are critical to minimizing device failures in testing and in the field.
About the Position:
The technician will support production by performing standard tests on battery materials. R&D will be supported by characterization of new materials/processes and development of new analytical methods. Technician must be proficient working with analytical equipment and have a well demonstrated record of safe laboratory processes.
The Production Manager position will be responsible for planning and organizing manufacturing activities for the Battery Assembly, TIII Lithium Ion, and CFx Cell and Battery Production lines.

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure day-to-day safety, quality and manufacturing goals are obtained for the Battery Assembly, TIII Lithium Ion, and CFx Cell and Battery Production lines. This role will manage a team of production leaders providing coaching and mentoring, assist with problem solving, manage capital budgets, drive operational efficiency focused on reducing waste and improving productivity, while driving execution focused on achieving KPI’s and customer service.

ABOUT THE POSITION
This position is located at our SOUTHBRIDGE, MA. facility and may be filled on the first, second or third shift, depending upon the ideal candidate. An integral member of the production team, the Assembler will use technical directives, work instructions, blueprints & schematics to build to specification, critical components for batteries used for aerospace, defense and commercial aviation applications. The primary purpose of this position is to upgrade the technical knowledge and background needed for the day to day rigors of preforming dynamic and electrical testing on various cell and battery systems in Research and Development. The successful applicant will be responsible for technical oversight of testing, standardization of tooling and testing processes, upgrade of testing equipment where necessary and practical, error proofing the lab process, trouble-shooting test anomalies, and overall lab flow.
This position will be responsible for equipment used to test battery cells and battery systems for Space, Aircraft, Medical, and R&D, and other testing at several facilities. The person will be responsible for design, manufacturing, maintenance, verification of test equipment, and supporting production test equipment layout for existing and new product lines, and reviewing data for same. In addition, the person will be responsible to develop problem resolutions of non-compliances related to hardware and operators. The position will work with minimum supervision within company policies and procedures.

EaglePicher is searching for a Technical Writer to join our team!
The Technical Writer will be responsible for working directly with Engineers, Quality, Production, Document Control, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and other team members for creating, writing, editing, and maintaining various technical documentation. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively across multiple battery chemistries to create high quality technical procedures and specifications. The Technical Writer will support EaglePicher by serving as the primary resource for technical documentation expertise.
EaglePicher is offering Summer Internships for upper level students with majors in various disciplines of Engineering and Science. Internships are paid, temporary positions beginning mid-May and ending mid-August and are not eligible for benefits. Interns will work a full-time schedule. Work days and shift hours may vary according to the work area, but no weekends or evenings.
Technician role is to support the R&D group in all phases of battery development activities. This will encompass activities in several battery systems that include but are not limited to: cell and battery pack design concept, materials research and refinement, equipment research and refinement. Will be required to work with engineering tools such as measurement devices, microscopes, viscosity meters, and others as directed.
