ABOUT THE POSITION

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for a broad range of functions within the human resources discipline for the Energetics Business Unit.  Manages and coordinates the activities and functions within the human resources discipline.  Develops and maintains partnerships with business and functional groups to integrate and implement strategic Human Resources practices and systems to support business strategy.  The HR Manager is the primary HR contact for designated facility.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible in providing day-to-day HR support for facilities that includes assisting employees with HR related matters, handling full spectrum of employee life cycle events from pre-hire to retire; and HR transactional activities, paperwork and processing.
  • Acts as primary project lead on HR initiatives including projects such as performance management, coaching, and employee engagement, etc.
  • Responsible for identifying, tracking, and measuring important HR related metrics as well as addressing gaps.
  • Partners with safety, training, quality and organizational effectiveness experts to align efforts and deliver tailored solutions across divisions.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process including updating job descriptions, job postings, interviewing and onboarding of new employees.
  • Performs benefit administration to include communicating and enrolling new hires in benefits in partnership with Corporate benefits team
  • Identifies opportunities for Organizational and HR process improvements and supports implementation of changes
  • Interprets Company policy relative to Human Resources and responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. 
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Administers performance review program and salary administration to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Stays current on latest HR related regulation, legal and compliance related matters to ensure HR compliance, developing and administering compliance programs and initiatives including internal audits. 
  • All other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10 plus years work experience in human resources or related field with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products required
  • Experience in HR functions such as compensation, benefits, recruiting, performance management, talent development, etc.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Must be a U.S. Persons
